Our Stateroom Clock has heavy solid cast brass casings, not just brass plated. There are genuine scuttle clamps that open the bevelled glass front. The hands of the clock are also brass with with clear Roman numerals on the light cream clock face. The movements are good quality using one AA battery to power the quartz.
