This is a truly remarkable little fishing rod that fits in a coat pocket or a car glovebox. When closed the fishing rod is in the form of a pen but extends telescopically to a length of 4ft (approx 1.2m). The miniaturised reel is fully functional with a switchable ratchet (so you can use it right or left-handed) and also has a line brake/clutch. The fishing reel is an engineering masterpeice and comes supplied with 5-lb (2.5kg) breaking-strain line and a spinner hook (please click on image below to see the detail of the fishing rod and reel). The rod made from aluminium alloy retracts inside the handle for stowage and the reel detaches. A pen-style lid fits on top, giving a total length of just 8".
